Gatherer

Gatherer is an addon for herbalists, miners and treasure hunters in World of Warcraft. It's main purpose is to track the closest plants, deposits and treasure locations on your minimap.

The addon does not track like a tracking ability does, rather it "remembers" where you have found various items in the past. It does this whenever you gather (perform herbalism, mining or opening) on an item, and records the specific map location in its history. From then on, whenever the item comes into range of being one of the closest 1-25 (configurable) items to your present location, it will pop up on you minimap.

When you view your World Map, you will also see the item locations marked on the particular map you are viewing there.

For more information, please visit us at http://www.gathereraddon.com/

USAGE:

Just use the game as normal. When you gather things, they will appear on your minimap and your main map. If you want to configure the addon, click the Gatherer configuration icon floating around your minimap frame or type /gather options.

CONTRIBUTING:

Gatherer is an open source project, and is built upon the donations and the support of the community.

Titan Panel [Gatherer]

Does anyone not use Gatherer? It's absolutely one of my core addons. However, I hate minimap buttons, so I made this little addon.

Fairly self-explanatory I believe.

Right-click brings up the Gatherer Report frame.
Left-click toggles the minimap icons.
Shift/Left-click toggle the mainmap icons.
Shift/Right-click to toggle node search frame.

The color of the button changes to gray when the minimap icons toggle is off, similar to the Gatherer minimap button.

That's it.

Thanx to the Gatherer team for the permission to go public.

Bloodhound

If you have Find Herbs or Find Ore switched on, this add-on displays a red arrow on the minimap. Follow it and it will lead you to herb/ore nodes. Potential node locations show as red gems on the minimap. They're transparent so that you can see actual nodes.

The arrow points in the direction of "net pull" exerted by the nodes. The longer you go without visiting a node, the stronger it pulls. Once you visit it, the pull drops back to zero and the arrow points somewhere else. This will eventually lead you everywhere, but it's a dynamically updating system, responding to where you go automatically. Closer nodes pull more strongly, so it favors nearby clusters of nodes. If you choose to ignore the arrow and go somewhere else, the arrow will adjust to your new location which means you're not on a fixed track.

This mechanism is more efficient than a fixed route that visits all nodes in order, and also allows easy cross-zone farming.

The add-on is configurable in the Interface menu under Add-ons / Bloodhound. It allows you to select whether the cross-zone feature is enabled Never, While Flying, or Always. It lists the zones in the current continent and lets you select which zones to include for the cross-zone feature. If that's disabled, it ignores nodes outside the current zone. It also lists the herbs and ore available on the current continent and lets you select the one's you're interested it. Unchecked node types don't exert any pull or show any indicator on the mini-map.

Multitrack

Multitrack

Add-on that switches between find herbs and find minerals every 2 seconds.
Only useful if you have both professions and want to farm them both at the same time.
Ideally you would scan for both at the same time, but wow won't let you do that so this is as good as it gets.
If anyone experiences "missing" nodes please let me know, I haven't done so myself but would like to hear about it if someone has.

Use:

/multitrack
/mult
Toggles the switching on and off, also accepts start/stop as parameters.

/multitrack int
/mult int
Brings up a dialogbox enabling you to change the switching interval.

What it does atm:

Checks if you have both skills before it starts.
Stops switching when you enter combat or cast a spell (pick a herb or mine a ore etc.)

Bugs:

Sometimes you might get a error message onscreen saying that "you can't do that right now" or "another action in progress" etc, nothing game-breaking.

Some people are reporting that it breaks after death. As I have been unable to recreate this myself I would appreciate it if those who experience this problem post a ticket Here.

GatherTogether

Provides a bridge between different gathering addons.

Currently supporting:

 • GatherMate (and GatherMate_Sharing)
 • Gatherer
 • MetaMap (tracker module)

To use this addon, you must have one of the supported gathering addons installed. When someone using the other addons shares a gathering node, you will receive the node information. When you gather a node, you will broadcast this node to the other addons in addition to any sharing options provided by your own addon.

The addon uses separate modules to support adding nodes for each gathering addon. Only the modules for your gathering addon will be used (the others will not take up memory, I removed dependencies in case an updater tries to blindly satisfy dependencies).

This addon does not replace sharing addons (like GatherMate_Sharing) which are specific to each gathering addon.

If you would like a gathering addon supported, please post a ticket.

Skill Helper

Skill Helper currently tracks your professions skills (2 Primary and 3 secondary) with both text and status bar on your UI. The dragable window makes it easy to get this small and lightweight addon out of sight out of mind.

Version 1.0: Loads profession skills in a pleasing status bar and text format Drag-able window to place addon where the user wishes When next mastery level training is needed (within 25 points of max) the bar and skill name turn red

Wish List: Will be integrating the level requirements as well for the skills as I locate them all Will be creating informational tool tips based upon ranks and where to gather or what to produce for most points per time spent Working on integrating route maps in tool tip for gathering skills Skinning will be getting optimal zone and animal level/name to hunt for skinning

This addon's future is to become a skill guide in game. It will be compiled from multiple popular guides through out the internet. At this time the functionality of the addon is exactly where I want it. The rest is as said… a wish list.

Spotter

Spotter

Version: 0.9.7

Spotter is a support addon for all gathering professions that rotates your gathering spells automatically in a short period of time. You can activate the rotation automatically while your mounted, flying or even shapeshifted. Increase your farming efficiency and search for ore, herbs and fish in one overflight.

You can customize a blacklist and a whitelist to automatically stop the rotation in cities or just areas of cities. If you get aggro while farming, no problem. Spotter stops the rotation on its own if you'll be attacked and restart on aggro loss.

Ping on your minimap to mark farm spots for a short time.

How to use Spotter

Installation

Unzip the Spotter-archive to your Addon-directory. Make sure you don't create any folders in the AddOn-directory and unzip Spotter there. WoW won't find Spotter then. More informations about installing AddOns can be found on the Spotter-page unter the menu-button "Install": http://my.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/spotter.aspx

Configuration

Before running, you should set Spotter up correctly, otherwise, Spotter won't run. You can configure all settings over the chatframe, the minimap-button or the FuBar-Plugin of Spotter. To make Spotter running, you need at least to set up when Spotter should start and what you are looking for. Spotter has to be active too. Read the following instructions to configure Spotter.

Configuration over chatframe:

To configure Spotter over the chatframe, you have to use the so called "slash-commands". If you type "/spotter" in the inputfield of the chatframe, you get a list of all possible settings.
You can configure the settings by typing them in like described in the chatframe. If you want to delete all entries of the personal blacklist for example, you have to type:
"/spotter area blacklist deleteall"

Configuration over minimap-button or FuBar-Plugin:

The configuration over the minimap-button or the FuBar-Plugin is barely the same. Right-clicking on the minimap-button or the FuBar-Plugin of Spotter brings up a graphical menu with all settings.

The following description uses the graphical method to configure Spotter.

Activation-settings

Clicking on the "active" entry starts and stops Spotter. The entry "active while" contains settings to start Spotter while you are mounted, flying or shapeshifted, if you are a druid. You can also make Spotter always running.

Interval-settings

Here you can configure the interval Spotter uses to change the search spells. You can define an interval between 1.4 and 20 seconds, I personally prefer a setting between 1.5 and 1.6 seconds. This works for me to get all spots while flying with an epic flying mount. This is also pretty much the lowest interval you can use with a regular connection to the servers because of the global-cooldown of 1.5 seconds and the accuracy of the timer which depends on your current ingame-framerate.

Area-settings

Spotter contains an internal blacklist which contains several areas where Spotter shouldn't run. These areas are actually the capital cities of Azeroth and all cities of Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King. The reason is, there are no resources in cities normally and Spotter would bother you. All battlegrounds are blacklisted too, because if you are using Spotter with an change-interval near global-cooldown, you can't attack another player.
If you enter a blacklisted area, Spotter stops automatically and starts itself when you enter a non-blacklisted zone.
Additional to the general blacklist which is the same for all characters, you can define personal black- and whitelists for every player.

Personal blacklist

The personal blacklist is meant to extend the general blacklist. You can add a zone or subzone by typing the name in the textfield of "Append user blacklist". Clicking the entry "Append current location" adds the current subzone your character is in to the personal blacklist.
To delete an entry of the blacklist, just click on the zone-name under "Remove zone/area" or if you want to reset the blacklist, click on "Reset Blacklist".

Personal whitelist

The personal whitelist allows you to activate Spotter in zones which would normally be blocked by the general blacklist. This means, if you want to enable Spotter while you are in Shattrath, just type the name in the textfield. The configuration is the same as the personal blacklist.

Minimap

Here you can enable and customize the minimap ping feature. The idea was, if you fly over an area and Spotter runs really fast, you may can't remember of all spots you saw and you don't want to wait untill the rotations show the spots next time. The minimap ping feature allow you to draw a little icon on the minimap just on the place you clicked on it. So you can fly over and mark all seen spots and can start gathering without checking the minimap all the time. The icons you set fade out after a short time. You can set this up in this menu and you can choose an icon shape you like.
Sadly, this feature is not stable at the moment. The first icon you set after log in, relog or looting something is set at the wrong place. All further icons will be set right.

GoldPerHour

Gold Per Hour

Using data the user has gathered via Auctioneer, this addon calculates the value of all items in the users bag as well as the amount of gold, it then tracks the change in this value over time. This means that, unlike other income addons, this tracks the potential income you will gain if you sell all the items you have collected for the market price on the Auction House.

For example if you are out herbing or running an instance you can see the value of the materials you have gained without either going back to the Auction House and selling them and waiting a day. Another use is to find out the best way for you to make money, you could try a few different things such as two different herbing areas and see which one gives you a better gold per hour value.

Dungeons

A new dungeon tracker has been added, this stores all the data that is automatically recorded when you run a dungeon and works out averages for GPH and total earnings. This is a very helpful tool if you want to easily see which dungeon is likely to give you the best income.

Items

An extra window has been added, which shows a breakdown of the items you are collecting. It displays an ordered list (starting from the highest) for three different views: Total value for all the multiples of that item, Value gained per hour from each item and the percentage of the total value change that each item contributes. This can help you decide which items to focus your time on collecting.

Bugs

At the moment there are a couple of bugs i am aware of, the main ones are:

 • Dungeon data not tracked if main (small one) window is closed.
 • It goes a bit strange when dealing with small (less than 1g) negative values.

Please suggest any other features that you would like me to try and include, or any bugs you have found.

FarmIt

A custom loot tracker for World of Warcraft.

FarmIt is a free-floating interface addon. It can be positioned anywhere on the screen. This mod was created to allow a player to track how many they have of ANY ITEM. This is especially helpful when farming for items that cannot be placed on the in-game skill bar. For example: I use this mod when I am farming elementals, so I know how many motes I have without needing to dig through my bags and count every time I loot one.

To open the Options Panel, right click on the bar anchor (where it says "FarmIt").
For a list of available slash commands, type: /farmit

About FarmIt
—————————————————————————————————-

FarmIt has been written to be as light and fast as possible.
This addon uses an optimized item count method via effective use of the World of Warcraft API.
This allows for many powerful and convenient features, while remaining a fast and efficient addon.

FarmIt is able to include your bank inventory without needing to be at the bank!
Item search also includes the keyring. (Great for items like Etherium Prison Keys, Relic Coffer Keys, etc.)

The options panel allows you to control and customize many things about FarmIt.
Right-click the base of the item bar to bring up the options panel.
Hovering with the mouse over the controls on the options panel should pop-up a brief explanantion of what that setting does.

Bar orientation can be switched between vertical and horizontal modes.
When in horizontal mode, the item text labels are automatically hidden.
Item text is automatically re-enabled when you switch back to vertical mode.
The direction the slots "grow out" horizontally can be changed via the options panel.

FarmIt offers "set it and forget it" farming objectives.
Current item count is displayed in the top-left corner of each slot, and your objective in the bottom-right corner.
Optionally, FarmIt will notify you each time you loot a tracked item you are farming for.
When you reach your farming objective for a given slot, the goal number will turn green and you will receive an
on-screen notification similar to the in-game quest objective messages. (This can be disabled in the options panel)

Due to the nature of FarmIt's purpose (at this time), all mod settings are saved on a per-character basis.

Tracking Plus

Cycles through tracking modes that you confgure. Compatible with class-specific tracking modes, such as Track Humanoids, Track Treasure, etc. User friendly configuration for specifying the delay before switching to the next tracking mode and order of the tracking mode cycle, along with several choices for when to suspend tracking mode cycling (fishing, combat, etc.).

When I originally needed this feature while playing, there were a few addons that did the same thing, but lacked the polish I was looking for. Some of them would cause constant feedback messages (You can't do that right now) as they tried to cycle tracking modes while my character was busy doing some other action, or would try to switch to the next tracking mode before the global cooldown was up from the last switch, stuff like that. The idea behind this addon is provide a tracking mode cycler that doesn't interfere with normal gameplay.

I tried to add options for everything that would be useful for an addon that cycles through tracking modes, but if there are any options or features you can think of that you'd find useful, I'd love to hear about them!

Supported Console Commands (You should replace any words in italics with an actual value when use the command. Words inside brackets [] are optional.)

 • /tplus config – Open the blizzard interface options menu (where you end up when you open the game menu, click Interface, and select the AddOns tab)
 • /tplus options – Opens a standalone options window. Use this command if you have a large number of addons and/or want to jump straight to the options for this addon.
 • /tplus toggle [on/off]- Controls whether the addon cycles through tracking modes or not. If you want to force a particular state, you can add "on" or "off" to the command (/tplus toggle off).
 • /tplus cycle_switch_delay seconds – Sets the delay (in seconds) before the addon will switch to the next tracking mode in the cycle. You can set this as low as you want, the add will always wait for the global cooldown to finish before switching again. For example, if you set this value to 1, but your global cooldown is 2 seconds, the addon would switch to the next tracking mode as soon as the global cooldown was complete.

There are a few other commands which allow you to configure various options, but since they are much simpler to set using the UI, I won't go over them here (however, to see the full list of options, simply type /tplus without any parameters).
